Teaching/Professional Experience:  I have been teaching for a total of 8 years.  Four of those years were in the traditional classroom and the last four have been online. I have taught a variety of classes but my focus has always been on health and biological/health sciences.

Educational Philosophy: Each child is a unique individual who needs a secure, caring, and stimulating atmosphere in which to grow and mature emotionally, intellectually, physically, and socially.  "Everyone is a genius.  But if you judge a fish on it's ability to climb a tree, it will live it's whole life believing it is stupid." ~Albert Einstein

Education:  I attended Northwest Nazarene University from 1996-2002 and earned a B.S. in Nursing.  It wasn't until I became a school nurse that I even considered becoming a teacher, but I love teaching!  So from nursing I went back to college and received my teaching certificate from the University of Idaho in 2008!

Long Term Goal:  My long term goal includes pursuing my masters degree and continuing a life full of learning new things!

Hobbies/Interests:  In my free time I enjoy spending time with family and friends, playing board games, being outdoors, dancing, raising chickens, gardening and cleaning!
