Teaching Experience: I have been teaching since 1989. During a portion of this time I taught in the Nampa School District. While in Nampa, I taught first and fifth grades at Centennial Elementary School. Then, I transferred to Central Elementary School to teach sixth grade. Following this experience I moved to West Middle School to teach seventh and eighth grades. When teaching seventh grade I taught Earth Science and Math. As an eighth grade teacher I was a reading specialist in the bi-lingual lab. In 1998 I moved to Upstate New York where I taught Art to the junior high students, Studio Art to high school learners and one class of art to self-contained students with special needs.
